- I am a 43 year-old mother of two. At work, I am Alison Pike, and I am an academic psychologist specialising in family relationships. In my other 128 hours I am Alison Williams; I live with my (civil) partner Sian, and we co-mother our two boys, Harry age 6 and Tom age 3. Homestead Mama bought me a swift and ball winder right before I had my last ankle fusion. [LOTS of time on my butt to knit and watch the entire first 2 seasons of West Wing.] I love them. The kids are enraptured watching them work. I highly recommend putting it on your birthday list.
