I always love knitting, but it is especially nice during meetings (pay me to knit, ok?) or when waiting. Right now I'm sitting at the train station. I missed one train by a minute, and the next was cancelled. No problem.
I am a 43 year-old mother of two. At work, I am Alison Pike, and I am an academic psychologist specialising in family relationships. In my other 128 hours I am Alison Williams; I live with my (civil) partner Sian, and we co-mother our two boys, Harry age 6 and Tom age 3. This blog is a record of how academic psychology influences (or not) my family life.
